Gunmen last night beheaded the Chairman Ward 4 of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Mr Frankline Obi, his first son, 18 years old Master Bestman and the wife, Ihuoma Obi.
Mr Obi was an APC chieftain in Omoku, headquarters of Ogba Egbema Ndoni local government area of Rivers State.
The state Police Commissioner, Mr Musa Kimo was at the family residence of those murdered to commiserate with them. He expressed deep pain over the sad incident calls for collaboration between communities and the Police to wipe out miscreants and hoodlums from the state.
He regretted that the Police was not contacted while the assailants were carrying out their evil acts.
He said: “Probably if they called the Police the killers could have been arrested. At least they were there for about twenty minutes before they left”
Second son of the deceased, Victory Obi told the Commissioner of Police, Mr Kimo that he saw the gunmen beheaded her father that black night.
