Following the issuance of an arrest warrant by the Code Of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) for failing to show up for his trial for alleged false declaration of assets, the Senate President has reportedly set up a grand counsel of 12 senior lawyers.
According to reports, Saraki who stated that the trial was politically motivated has employed the services of 12 senior lawyers led by the former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), J.B Daudu (SAN) to represent him before the court.
Although the report is yet to be independently confirmed, it is safe to say that the last has not been heard from Saraki and the CCT.
