Senate President Bukola Saraki visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 where the pair held a closed door meeting for about thirty minutes.
After the meeting, journalists had swarmed him seeking to confirm reports that copies of the 2016 appropriation bill were missing.
Responding to the questions, Saraki simply replied: “Ha, ha, ha” before getting into his car and driving off.
It would be recalled that reports have been circulating that the budget submitted to the Senate by President Buhari on Tuesday, December 22, 2-15 is missing.
