Former Governor Godswill Akpabio opened a Twitter account, Saturday, September 5, 2015 and his first messages are to update Nigerians on his current state of health following a car accident on his way to work Monday.

The former Akwa Ibom Governor expressed his thanks and appreciation to Nigerians for their prayers and said, “Though down, but not out. I will rise.”

He also revealed that he had received calls from former President Goodluck Jonathan, President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and Senate President Bukola Saraki.
