#SoundOff: Precious Pepple Was Not Killed In An Election Day Violence #StopTheLies:

Must read

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he people of Rivers State will stop at nothing in investigating every single allegation of the APC about Election Day Killings in Rivers State to buttress the point that they are all false.

Today we debunk the claim by Elder Dimieari Pepple that his son Precious Pepple was killed on Election Day in Opobo by the PDP. Elder Dimieari made the claim during the ill-fated, ill-conceived and unnecessary Black Monday celebration of mischief by the APC. The claim is false and criminal.

Late Mr. Precious Pepple (God bless his soul), was killed in a cult related incident at Amadi off Abuloma, in Port Harcourt, before the Election held. He didn’t die in an election related violence. He wasn’t killed on Election Day and not even in Opobo town. He was believed to have been killed either by his cult members or a rival cult group. But it was certainly a cult related incident.

The distortion of the facts about his death by the APC and, most unbelievably, through his father, as was also the case of Oluchi Omunakwe, in order to gain political capital is most disturbing, unfortunate and criminal.

The APC in Rivers State by its continued shameless and criminal fabrication and packaging of falsehood is doing Rivers State and Nigeria a disservice. There’s virtually no gain to make from this dishonourable brand of politics.

A few citizens cannot keep demarketing Rivers State and our dear Country simply because they lost an election. It proves that their interest is political power for their personal benefits rather than the best of Rivers State. Love for Rivers State cannot inspire these desperate and despicable acts of cowardice and betrayal of Rivers people.

These lies must stop!
