The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, has described the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo as “a patriot and devout man of God”.
Dogara in a statement Tuesday, March 8, 2016 issued by his spokesman, Mr. Turaki Hassan, congratulating the Vice President on the occasion of his 59th birthday.
The Speaker further went on to state that VP Osinbajo’s commitment to the Nigerian project is not in doubt, and that “as a devout man of God, erudite scholar, legal luminary and a patriot, you have not left anyone in doubt as to your commitment to the growth and development of Nigeria and the urgent need and desire to bring about an enduring change in our country.”
He described Professor Osinbajo as a patriot and selfless leader whose sterling leadership qualities are exemplary and worthy of emulation.
“As you mark this auspicious day, may the good Lord continue to bless you with wisdom, good health, strength and capacity in the onerous task of nation building.”
“We pray that almighty God grants you more wisdom and strength to continue offering your selfless services to our people.”
