Jesus went about teaching, preaching and healing. You see, one without the other is incomplete! But what do a lot of us do today? We are teaching and preaching, and motivating people, but not healing sicknesses and diseases. That’s not what Jesus did; why then are we not ministering like Him.
I’m not referring to only pastors here; I’m talking to every child of God: when you go out for evangelism do you heal the sick? Jesus’ instructions were quite clear: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs will follow those who believe: in My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:15, 17-18)
You’ve got to determine to do ministry as Jesus did. Ministry is actually a lot easier when we minister with the power of God. The earnest of the creature await the manifestation of the sons of God.
