Three students of Government College Ughelli, GCU, Delta State have been suspended indefinitely over alleged involvement in homosexual activities.
The school’s action was disclosed on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 during the reunion and Annual General Meeting of the Old Boys Association, GCOBA.
The principal, Mr. Vincent Useh, noted that the decision was taken by the school as part of disciplinary measures and to serve as deterrent to others.
President General of the association, Professor Omatete Oristsegbemi, advised parents to be diligent in the upbringing of their wards, adding that the association would not condone any act of indiscipline from any student, Vanguard reports.
