Billionaire reality TV star, real estate tycoon and Republican presidential hopeful, Donald Trump, has threatened to cancel his planned one billion dollar investments in golf courses in Scotland, if Britain eventually slams him with a travel ban.

Trump made this disclosure on Friday, January 8, 015 in Massachusetts after he stated that the British lawmakers were planning to hold a debate on a petition signed by more than half a million people demanding that he be banned from the country following his anti-Muslim speech.

A source said the debate would be held on Monday, January 18, 016 but would not be followed by a vote, according to Reuters.

Meanwhile, the Trump Organisation said in a statement that a ban would result in him pulling developments worth 500 million pounds at a golf complex in northeastern Scotland, adding that the singular act would also affect the 200 million pound revamp at a resort in the country’s southwest.

The group warned in a statement that any action to restrict travel would force them to immediately end these and all future investments they are currently contemplating in the U.S.
