Two children aged 3 and 4 had been roasted to death after their 21-year-old mother, Ciarria Johnson, went to a salon to have her hair styled abandoning them alone at home for several hours.
A fire inferno was said to have started in the house while she was away on the fateful night of Monday,January 12, 2015 in Louisiana.
It was learnt that a flammable part of the gas heaters in the living room led to the fire outbreak that consumed the little children.
The older of the duo was identified as Ta’shae Thompson Johnson while the younger was named Clifton Thompson Johnson.
The woman was arrested and during police interrogation, she claimed to have arranged with one of her neighbours to take care of the children while she was away, a;though the police officials faulted the claims as being false.
According to World Wide Weird News, Johnson only returned home after being contacted by the fire department. There were two gas heaters running when Johnson left the home.
Meanwhile, she was charged with two counts of negligent homicide.
