A university undergraduate had caused serious chaos among residents in his area after he stabbed his mum with a knife and subsequently used the same knife to chop off his own penis.
20-year-old Charlie Mann, attacked his mum and injured her badly in their home located at a leafy suburb in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, United Kingdom.
The reason behind his action was not mentioned.
The duo were rushed to Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Brighton, for emergency treatment where medical officials were able to reattach his penis, Mirror UK reports.
He was arrested and arraigned before Lewes Crown Court on Monday, January 19, 2015.
He was further remanded in custody pending on his sentence on Monday, February 23, 2015.
This is the umpteenth time a man chopped off his manhood or someone close to him did the job for him.
