The wife of Nigeria’s Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo took to the streets of the nation’s capital, Abuja on Saturday, October 31, 2015 to take a stand against cancer.
Mrs. Osinbajo was joined by some women as they staged a walk against the dreaded terminal disease.
The cancer awareness walk was organised by the first lady of Kebbi State, Dr. Zainab Bagudu under the auspices of Medicaid Cancer Foundation, an NGO that “advocates, screens, and treats cancer patients in Nigeria is set to wind up its month long activities in October”.
The walk is aimed at raising awareness and educating Nigerians about cancer care and prevention.
