Former APGA Chairman, Victor Umeh Wins Anambra Senatorial Rerun Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,  has declared Victor Umeh of the ruling party in Anambra State, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, winner of the Anambra Central Senatorial District rerun election held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, in seven local government areas of the state.

Chief Umeh, a former chairman of APGA, was declared victorious early on Sunday morning, January 14, 2018.

He won with a landslide, garnering a total of 64,879 votes.
