Many Nigerians took to Twitter microblogging site on Friday, February 19, 2016 to express their displeasure over the too many foreign trips embarked upon by the president, General Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari jetted off to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt on Friday, February 19 to participate in the Business for Africa, Egypt and the World Forum.
Despite the myriad of challenges facing the country, Buhari has embarked on about 20 foreign trips in about 8 months since inauguration on Friday, May 29, 2015.
Nigerians are of the view that the president’s trips are unnecessary considering the drastic decline in the country’s economy.
