A woman who probably had some mental issues had on the night of Wednesday, January 21, 2015 choked her 8-year-old son around 9:30 p.m until he passed out, her reason being that she wanted him to go to heaven since she could not afford to raise him anymore.
The little boy was rushed to a hospital where he is currently receiving treatment at the intensive care unit in Aichi Japan.
The 33-year-old mother, Aki Amano was arrested by the police at the hospital after they were called by the hospital staff who noticed some red marks and bruises around the boy’s neck indicating that someone had tried to strangle him, World Wide Weird News reports.
It was around 11 p.m that Amano’s husband, Toshio Amano, 54, who was at home during the incident discovered their son lying unconscious and alerted emergency services.
During interrogation, Amano told the police that she wanted to go to heaven with her son because she could not afford to raise him anymore.
Meanwhile, her mother said she had been receiving psychiatric treatment at a mental institution.
