Alessandro Nesta is now a club manager. New North American club, Miami FC has hired the Italian as head coach for their debut season in North American Soccer League (NASL) season next year.
The world cup winner who is making his first foray into management sent out a tweet revealing his excitement.

The 39-year-old tweeted in Italian but it can be translated to “I am very happy and excited for this new experience, I look forward to start!”.
Miami FC is co-owned by Nesta’s former teammate, Paolo Maldini.
