5 Reasons The World Is Going To End In 2016 – Probably On February 14

Must read

Is World War 3 going to break out this year, basting the Earth in nuclear fire? Or are we about to be wiped out by an asteroid – or be sucked into a huge black hole created by the Large Hadron Collider?

It could actually be ALL THREE, if you believe the rantings of prophets, conspiracy theories and mad people on YouTube.

Here are five good reasons not to bother sticking to those New Year’s resolutions…

1) Ghostbusters 2 predicted the world would end on February 14, 2016

‘Valentine’s Day. Bummer,’ says Bill Murray. Indeed

2) Back in 2011, a NASA scientist said the poles would shift in 2016

Is this man actually a NASA scientist? It’s not clear.

3) Barack Obama is the Antichrist – and is going to destroy the world on June 6

Online conspiracy theorist David Montaigne firmly believes that the Bible makes it clear that Barack Obama is actually the Antichrist.

Montaigne says, ‘Biblical evidence points to three key facts on these topics. The Antichrist makes his big move in Jerusalem in 2016.

‘The Antichrist is the King of Babylon, and Mystery Babylon is New York. Barack Obama will be in charge of the right world empire at the right time, and he fits the bible’s numerous personal descriptions of the Antichrist.’

4) An asteroid will hit on May 16, 2016 – followed by a black hole created by CERN

The world will be over by October 25, according to Pastor Ricardo Salazar, who’s behind a series of very, very odd YouTube rants.

God himself has told Salazar some of these details – although it’s not clear when, or whether Salazar actually is a priest.

5) The Bible says Jesus is coming back – well, sort of

According to a slightly dubious-looking website, ‘The Mark of the Beast’, the end is nigh – as foretold in the Bible!

The site says, ‘The seventy ‘sevens’ in Daniel 9:24 are 70 Jubilee cycles. These 70 Jubilee cycles bring us to the end of the world. The 70 Jubilees will end 3,431 years later in 2016 AD when God’s children will enter heavenly Canaan.

‘God’s people will be totally and permanently delivered from sin and Jesus will come again. The second coming of Christ will occur at the exact time predicted in Daniel’s prophecy. In 2016 there will be an end to sin in the world, Jesus will come the second time, and then the end of the world will come.’
