In preparation for the 2015 general elections set to hold in March 28 and April 11 2015 for both presidential and governorship respectively, the Independent National Electoral Commission has announced that 52,233,396 people have collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC).
This was disclosed via an electronic mail sent to journalists on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 by the commission in Abuja.
It explained that the PVCs were of the total number distributed as of Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
The above figure however shows 75.88 per cent of the 68,833,476 registered voters nationwide.
