Must read

A man, his wife, as well as their little baby were pictured lying down on the tracks of a railway in a bid to evade the clutches of the cops who attempted to drag them away and take them to a refugee camp.

The viral photos showed the agonizing looks on the faces of the couple as the Hungarian police tried to forcefully take them away.

An eyewitness, also a reporter for ITV, James Mates, explained on Thursday, September 3, 2015 that refugees on board the trains leaving Budapest’s Keleti station believed they were going to Austria but were confused when the train made a sudden stop at the small town of Bicske, 30 miles down the line where police were waiting.

According to reports, the cops made frantic efforts to clear the train by carriages, 100 persons or thereabout at a time and push them through an underpass before backing down.

It was when riot police attempted to remove the refugees from the train that the man and woman threw themselves onto the track with their baby amidst some serious tears that really melted hearts ever since the photos crawled into the social media.

Here are some of the emotions-inducing photos. (Click on any image to enlarge).
