Ezekwesili Lauds President Jonathan, Military Over War On Terror

The #BringbackOurGirls group on Thursday, February 26, 2015 showered praises on the Nigerian military for their recent victories over insurgent sect, Boko Haram which has led to the recapture of several towns previously occupied by the terrorists.

The group also praised President Goodluck Jonathan for visiting the liberated villages.

A leader of the group and former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili said that the group is not aimed at kicking against the activities of the Federal Government and security agencies and would commend their efforts as at when due.

She further added that their criticism of the security agencies does not translate to antagonism, but that it wanted the Nigerian army to share more information so there could be trust among Nigerians.

While commending the Nigerian military for supervising the return of locals to Michika and Baga, Ezekwesili also stated her happiness that the group’s constructive criticism was yielding results.
