A gay couple was pictured completely naked in the middle of a busy street in Sao Paulo, Brazil to protest discrimination against homosexuals in the country.
The couple, identified as Felippe and Marlon, were seen stark naked at night and embraced each other so tight.
It was learnt that the couple’s action was also a celebration of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) activism in the country.
The photographers, Fabio Lamounier and Rodrigo Ladeira, said the couple intended to use the photo shoot to pass a “”simple metaphorical” message to the general public.
The message read, “Stripping naked strips away prejudices, and, in the process, opens hearts and imaginations.
“We have to be utopian and rethink a city naked of its prejudices, lovable even under the grey sky; complete just because of the differences, and respectful cause of the diversity.”
“We were naked, stripped of our clothes, our prejudices and fears. These photographs represent an ideal world in which we can walk together hand in hand, embrace each other or kiss without being afraid.
“Every day in Sao Paulo, in Brazil and in the world, we are attacked for being gay, for being ourselves. Chicos who love other Chicos, Johns, Pedros, Caios, Rodrigos, Josephs, Ricardos, Thiagos, and many others. And this has to stop!”
