A groom who seems unaware of the fact that make up makes women look different was disappointed after seeing his wife for the very first time without make up.
The man whose identity was undisclosed woke up to the shock of his life the morning after their wedding in Algeria to see his wife’s natural face.
He had doubts at first if the lady lying next to him was actually his wife and even accused her of being a thief until he realized that she had deceived him with too much make up all the while.
Emirates 247 reported that the man sued the woman for $20,000 damages which caused him ‘psychological sufferings’.
A source said, “The groom told the judge that he could not recognise his wife after she washed the make-up off her face.
“He said he was deceived by her as she used to fill up her face with make up before their marriage.
“He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the make-up off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief.
“The groom told court that he is demanding $20,000 damages for his psychological suffering.”
