The installation of Bishop Peter Ebere Okpaleke of the newly-created Catholic Diocese of Ekwulobia by the Papal delegate and Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev Valerian Okeke will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 10am prompt.
Recall that Pope Francis announced the creation of the new Diocese out of the Catholic Diocese of Awka on March 5, 2020. Due to the prohibition of large gatherings as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will not be open to the general public.
To ensure that the public has a virtual presence at the event, the Chineto Ozigbo Foundation is sponsoring the LIVE Streaming of the event on the Social Media handles of the Diocese. This gesture is in addition to the foundation’s sponsoring of the development of the Ekwulobia Diocese website.
The foundation has also launched the development of a groundbreaking Digitization Roadmap for the Diocese.
