After having 13 children, a 65-year-old woman is now pregnant again but this tome, she has four kids on the way after she underwent IVF.
The 13 children of Annegret Raunigk of Berlin, Germany, have different fathers as five men were involved in the whole process of conception.
Raunigk, who teaches Russian and English, recently announced that she is pregannt with quadruplets because she wanted to get a younger sibling for her last daughter who is 9 years old.
She told how she attempted several times to get pregnant though artificial insemination and she succeeded after a year and half and is set to have four kids at once.
The expectant mother who has 7 grandchildren disclosed that her oldest daughter is 44 years old.
According to World Wide Weird News, Raunigk said that so far, the pregnancy was without complications. The babies are due in the summer. The birth of the babies will make Raunigk the oldest mother of quadruplets in the world.
Although she did not fail to mention the shock she felt when the doctor announced to her that she is pregnant with quadruplets.
Raunigk stated that she never intended to abort any of the embryos because she was somewhat ready to face the challenge ahead.
She said, “I’m not really scared. I just assume I will stay healthy and fit. I have enough experience, that’s not new to me.
“I’m not a planner, but rather spontaneous and children keep me young.”
