Nigeria Will Get To The Promised Land – President Jonathan Expresses Optimism

President Goodluck Jonathan has assured Nigerians that in spite of the hurdles facing the country, Nigeria will eventually reach Eldorado.

He made the remarks while attending the first Sunday of the year service at St. Stephens Anglican Church, Otuoke, Bayelsa State.

In his brief remarks, President Jonathan said his government will continue to tap into the hidden potentials that abound in the country in order to move the country forward, just as he thanked the church and Christians in general for their prayers, adding that the tough times the country is going through is not peculiar to Nigeria but is also affecting the whole world.

In President Jonathan’s words: “I thank you for your prayers, especially at this period. This is a period the world is passing through challenges. We have a lot of potential and I see a bright future for the country. Despite the challenges and bumps, Nigeria will move on and get to the Promised Land.”
