Before she received her box of fruit, a nurse in Chula Vista, California named Angel Anderson never knew she was in for the surprise of her life.

She bought a produce box from Farm Fresh To You, an organic fruit delivery service and was stunned to discover the phallic fruit.

The box of fruit had a variety of fruits including pomegranates, plums, mango and grapefruit.

But amazingly, she discovered a striking bosc pear about 5 and half inches long that looked amazingly like a circumcised male sex organ.

Anderson sent an email containing a photo of the phallic pear.

She said: “I opened the box right up and thought, ‘What the f***!’. I had no idea what it was until I looked at the receipt and it said I received three bosc pears in my order. The other two looked more like what a bosc pear is supposed to look like.”

“This is my second or third box. None of the other fruits looked like this.”

Speaking to Huffington Post, a spokesperson for Farm Fresh To You, Barbara Archer said that the company’s focus is “good taste, not perfect-looking fruit.

“I think fruit shape is all in the eye of the beholder.”

Anderson disclosed that she would not eat the fruit.

“I have it in a fruit bowl. I’d like to preserve it, but it’s just decoration until it dies,” she said.
