Popular Music Producer, Magicsticks And Mother, Involved In Car Accident

Popular music producer, Kareem Olasunkanmi Temitayo professionally known as Magicsticks has shared news of how he survived an accident a day into 2023.

The 27-year-old producer who is credited with creating many of Asake’s beats revealed that he and his mother were only saved by God after being engaged in a tragic accident.

He revealed that it was his custom to spend the New Year’s holiday with his mother.

However, when he was leaving with her, an accident occurred when one of their car tires detached and careened down a hill, while their vehicle was also on the edge of the hill.

In his words, “I usually spend the new year with my mum. So January 2nd on our way out we had an accident.

“The front tire came out and went down the hill. Our car was at the edge as well. It’s only grace, I’m grateful to God. Happy new year.”

All 12 tracks on Asake’s ‘Mr. Money with the Vibe’ album, which had the biggest Afrobeats album launch ever when it debuted at number 66 on the Billboard 200 charts and topped the charts in 31 other countries, were produced by him.

Burna Boy Wins Best International Act At UK’s MOBO Awards

Burna Boy, Grammy-winning singer, has beat Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown, Beyonce, Drake, and others to clinch the ‘Best International Act’ at the just concluded 2022 MOBO Awards.

Also in the category were Summer Walker, Jazmine Sullivan, Skilibeng, Jack Harlow, and Nigeria’s Tems.

‘Odowgu’ also secured the “Best African Act”, beating Asake, Rema, Fireboy, and Omah Lay.

This brings the “Last Last” crooner’s MOBO Awards wins to a total of three following his 2021 win as the ‘Best International Act’.

Expressing appreciation to the organisers of the awards, Burna Boy apologised for his unavoidable absence as a result of a show.

He said: “Thank you so much @MOBOAwards for the Two Awards!!! Best International Act 2022 & Best African Music Act 2022 sorry I couldn’t be there. Truly Grateful. Thank you to all my fans and those that voted #LOVEDAMINI.”

‘The Reason I Don’t Believe Any Girl Loves Me’ – Burna Boy

Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy, has revealed that the love of his grandmother has made not believe that any “girl” loves him.

Burna Boy, who is presently in Amsterdam for his Space Drift concert, took to Twitter to pen a heartwarming love note for his grandmother.

While sharing her pictures on Thursday, Burna Boy reflected on his love life with other women.

He tweeted, “My Everything!! She is probably the reason I don’t believe any girl loves me. I know what true love feels like… Grandma’s Love.”

Taking to his Instastories he wrote, “In Amsterdam doing sound check and all I can think of is I just need my grandmother everywhere I go but she cannot understand/handle fans screaming and touching me, or seeing me stressed without crying so hard out of genuine fear and love.”

Recall that Burna Boy in December 2021 announced he was single, confirming his break up with his girlfriend, Stefflon Don after many years of dating.
