SHOCKER: Decaying Corpse Of 16-Year-Old Girl Found In Hotel Wardrobe In Bayelsa

Must read

The decaying corpse of a 16-year-old girl identified as Nengi Enenimiete has been found in a hotel wardrobe in Twon-Brass Island, Brass Local Government Area, LGA, of Bayelsa State.

Daily Trust gathered that the corpse, which had already started decaying, was discovered by a cleaner.

The male guest she reportedly lodged with had checked out. According to sources at the hotel, there were no physical injuries, mutilation or strangulation on the corpse of the deceased.

Indigenes of Brass are demanding for an autopsy and arrest of the mysterious male guest.

Findings indicate that the deceased was introduced to the male guest on Saturday by her friend. They both lodged at the hotel on Saturday until he checked out on Sunday.

A source in the hotel said, when the manager arrived and checked the room, he found that it was messed up and directed the cleaner to tidy it up for another guest. But when the cleaner noticed water dripping on tiles from another part of the room, he had to check the wardrobe.

“While they were checking the room, they perceived an offensive odour and started searching for the source. They later discovered the lifeless body of the deceased in the wardrobe,” he said.

Asinim Butswat, the state police spokesman, who confirmed the incident, said the corpse had been evacuated and deposited in a mortuary for autopsy.

Butswat said investigation is ongoing to unravel the circumstances leading to the incident.

New Low: Terrorists Demand N10 Million Ransom To Release Kidnapped Victim’s Corpse In Kaduna

Bandits in Kaduna state have demanded N10 million ransom for the dead body of one Obadiah Ibrahim, who was kidnapped some weeks ago, the victim’s family revealed.

The family said the bandits had earlier collected N3 million as ransom.

Kefas Obadiah, who is a brother to late Ibrahim Obadiah, said his brother died on Monday, but it was on Thurdays that his death was announced to the family.

“The bandits refused to release my brother while he was kidnapped, even after they collected N3 million as ransom.

“My brother’s name is Obadiah Ibrahim. He was kidnapped in early October in Sabon Gaya on his way back from Abuja.

“I wasn’t the one communicating with the bandits. There was a negotiator.

“Earlier the bandits demanded N200 million and later settled for N3 million plus.

“They said we should bring the money. After giving them the ransom, they told us the money was for their foodstuffs which had finished, and that we should go and bring N15 million.

“They later came down to N5 million and three motorbikes and later collected one bike.

“After collecting the bike, we didn’t hear from them again. We tried to communicate with them but unfortunately, we were unable to.

“Then on Thursday when the negotiator called them, they said our brother is dead.

“We thought they were joking. When we continued they threatened to track the caller and come for him if he did not stop calling their line.

“They said their own men were arrested by police, tied to a tree, and killed. So they vented their anger too on our brother because of what the police did to their brother.

“Ibrahim had died on Monday and they informed us on Thursday.

“We asked for his corpse and they said we should pay them N10 million if we want his corpse, saying they’ll not work for us free of charge.

“They swore that if we bring the money they’ll release the corpse in three days,” he said.
