KANO – A suspect has been arrested by the Kano state Police Command for the murder of a prominent Yoruba leader, Chief Ganiyu Akanbi.
The suspect, 26-year-old Abubakar Abdulrahman, was an employee of the late Akanbi.
On Wednesday, August 27, 2014 Abdulrahman painted a gory picture on how he stabbed his boss to death in an armed robbery operation.
Speaking while he was paraded by the Police at the Bompai Police headquarters Abdulrahman said; “I was forced to move against him when it became evident that my former boss recognized me.”
