Nahum 1:7 NKJV “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.”

Have you noticed that trouble, or challenges, if you like, seems to never end? It’s like there’s always going to be an issue, at home, at work, in school, in your children’s school, and even in church. You solve one, and you are happy, and then there’s another, and another; challenges, manifesting in different forms! Job 14:1 says, “Man who is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble.” The ERV says, “We are all human beings. Our life is short and full of trouble.”

So we cannot escape challenges! There’s no need praying, “Lord, please don’t let me encounter any challenges this month”; maybe you can pray for lesser challenges: the point is that even though challenges seem inevitable, as children of God, we don’t have to be worried. We can still be at peace at all times, even in the middle of very serious crisis, because we have a Father who specializes in delivering people out of troubles. Hallelujah!

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.”

God says, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” Maybe some people have threatened to take your life, or your job; even if the whole country is ” boiling”, relax! Just send an SOS to GOD using J-E-S-U-S and He will deliver you! Yes, He will!
