The teacher’s action had enraged some parents of the school who demanded to know why the teacher went that far in punishing the students.
A report by NY Daily News said the school had threatened to punish any student who failed to show up with their Santa hats for a Christmas party.
Unfortunately, the duo fell victims and were brought before the whole school during the assembly where they were asked to enter a garbage bag.
The teacher further removed their shirts and asked them to remove their pants before he subsequently brought out a pair of scissors and jokingly said he would cut off their penises.
The garbage sack was later removed and the two boys from the lowest class stood with just their underwear on.
The deputy chairman of the school’s board, Thomas Hald said the incident was supposed to be a joke but it turned ‘awry’ even though the teacher in question had tendered an apology.
“It is correct that it happened and that type of humour is something that those of us on the board naturally do not condone,” he said.
A report was filed to the local police regarding the case in the afternoon of Thursday, January 8, 2015.
