A 54-year-old man, Russell Joseph Meyer, has been arrested on a charge of bestiality after he admitted to repeatedly raping his dog.
Meyer who hails from Alabama in the United States of America, had engaged in the act of deriving sexual pleasure from his female German Shepherd dog when he called his friend on phone.
According to Franklin County police, the call recorded on the recipients’s voicemail as he didn’t answer it.
After he listened to the voicemail message and realized his friend was raping his dog during the call, the friend alerted the attention of the police.
Meyer who was also accused of being in possession of marijuana was booked into the Franklin County Jail, and his bail set $6,000.
The abused dog is being examined by a veterinarian.
