A 26-year-old man’s cravings to have two wives had sent him to his early grave after his first wife murdered him in a field in a gruesome manner.
Police officials in Kalere, Uganda revealed that the 23-year old woman identified as Unity Atuhere committed the act out on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 out of extreme anger.
Atuhere has been arrested by the police operatives.
Investigation revealed that Atuhere asked the deceased, Christopher Tukaherwa to go outside in the garden to dig a buffer zone before the upcoming rain.
It was while he was digging that his wife reached for a machete with which she chopped up her husband.
The woman subsequently turned herself in at a nearby police station where she confessed to have killed her husband because he married another woman last month.
Police officers who arrived at the couple’s home, found the victim dead in the garden, World Wide Weird News.
Atuhere was dragged to court where she was charged with one count of murder.
