The Trent published an article, Osinbajo Insulted By El Rufai, Walks Out On President Buhari (September 16, 2015).
In trying to push back, the Buhari presidency sponsored a disgraceful article attacking our President and Executive Editor, Aziza Uko. The article was authored by one Oluwole Isaac and published on fringe political blogs. (September 17, 2015).
The same article was published on the official government website for the Nigerian Presidency (www.statehouse.gov.ng), HERE. The publication was titled, President Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and El Rufai Share Mutual Respect (September 17, 2015) and signed by Mr. Laolu Akande.
Following an intense social media backlash the article was removed from the government website (http://www.statehouse.gov.ng/index.php/news/1556-president-buhari-vice-president-yemi-osinbajo-and-el-rufai-share-mutual-respect), but not before we were able to capture screenshots.
