The governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako and his government were on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 given a 3-day ultimatum by the House of Assembly to pay back the illegal deductions made in workers salaries and allowances of May 2014 in the state.
Over N142 million was allegedly deducted from the Adamawa state workers salaries and allowances this month.
The House has directed that the state government as a matter of urgency refund the monies which they say were made with impunity and without negotiations with the workers and relevant bodies concerned in the state.
