There’s officially a new generation of Jonas!
Kevin Jonas’ wife Danielle gave birth to their first child on Sunday (Feb. 2). The Jonas’ welcomed a baby girl, named Alena Rose, and announced her birth with an extra special hashtag, #BabyJonas, engaging fans on a whole new level.
The eldest of the Jonas Brothers tweeted to let his followers know that Alena Rose was on her way, and that all updates on her birth would be given through sponsored tweets from Dreft, a laundry detergent brand designed for babies.

While Jonas continued to tweet, letting the world know that his wife was “pushing,” the official photo of Alena Rose was released by the Dreft account.

The company joked that the baby’s arrival had even managed to distract from the Super Bowl:

“We are overjoyed at the birth of Alena Rose Jonas,” the couple told E! News. “She is precious! We could not be more excited to start building our family together. We want to thank our family and friends for their love and support, and our fans for all of their well wishes.”
Other members of the Jonas family also used Twitter to express their excitement about the new addition in the wake of a family loss. The brothers’ grandfather, Jerry Miller, died on Jan. 28.

Kevin and Danielle Jonas, who shared much of their pregnancy story with fans on social media, haven’t been shy about their feelings for their daughter.
