The body of 22-year-old Nigerian student, Uyobong Ukonne who drowned in the Delware River during a rafting trip with friends on Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Lumberland, New York, was finally found yesterday Sunday, June 1, 2014 at about 5.45pm.
According to reports by the chief ranger of the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, Joe Hinkes, the deceased body was found 5miles away from where he was last seen.
The chief also said the deceased death as been ruled as accidental drowning.
Its really a tragic and sad incident as the deceased who had stayed in U.S was making plans to pay a visit to his mother in Nigeria.
