The Lagos state government on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 received its share of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, announced the arrival of the vaccines on Twitter. He however did not disclose how many doses the state received.
Akosile tweeted: ”Arrival of #COVID19 vaccines. We’re making progress. The world will see the end of the pandemic. Good morning Lagos.”

Lagos state remains the epicenter of the disease in Nigeria since the first case was discovered in February 2020.
