A second health care worker at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital has tested positive to Ebola virus, the state Department of Health said today, October 15, 2014.
The hospital was were America’s index case, Thomas Eric Duncan was treated.
The worker reported a fever on Tuesday and was immediately isolated, the hospital spokeswoman, Carrie Williams said.
The hospital has now begun monitoring all those who had contact with the unidentified worker for signs of potential exposures.
