Following the Friday, October 2, 2015 bomb blasts that rocked Kuje and Nyanya areas of Abuja, the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government on Saturday, October 3, 2015 sent a delegation to the scene of the blast.

The delegation, led by Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal also visited the National Trauma Center of the National Hospital, Abuja, where the victims of the blast are being treated.
