Character, more than anything else will take you far in life. There are people who have risen high in life who crashed because they lacked good character. Talent and skills can only take you so far, character will establish you, open doors for you and keep you in the presence of greatness.
Bad character stinks! I have seen people get jobs and lose them because of bad character. You see, character is who you really are. Others can have their perceptions of who you are, but God looks at your character; your heart! Time for a character check: what’s your character like? Until God makes you a man of great character, He can’t do so much with you!
God desires to make us people of great character. And that’s what the process is really about; the development of character. Romans 5:3-4 says, “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.” May God make us people of great character in Jesus name. Amen.
