A groom stunned guests after he gave his wife a coffin as a wedding gift on their wedding day in Thailand.
When asked the reason for the bizarre gift, the man identified as Diao of Loei, said that he decided to give his bride the coffin after he heard the phrase “diamonds are forever.”
According to WWWN, Diao explained to his surprised bride that since all the money they will earn together will eventually be spent, he decided to purchase a beautiful coffin as it will be her future home for eternity.
Much to the surprise of everyone, the woman accepted the gift in good faith after she understood that diamonds aren’t really forever.
