Police have been investigating a weird case in which a man bit off his wife’s nose and swallowed it because she failed to pick his calls.
The couple, from the city of Dezhou in China, allegedly got into a fight after the woman did not answer her estranged husband’s calls after a late shift at work earlier this week.
The victim identified only as Yang told the harrowng tale of how her husband stormed into her work place the following day and attacked her.
She said: “And the next thing I knew, he pushed my head towards the way and ate my nose in one go.”
Reports state that doctors have claimed the damage to Yang’s nose is so severe she will require extensive surgery as nearly her entire nose were eaten by her husband.
According to surgeons, it will take at least three months before her nose can be cosmetically reconstructed, reported Independent UK.
It appeared the couple, who were both divorcees when they got married, had a tumultuous relationship.
The victim claims her husband who had two grown-up children from his previous marriage attempted to sell their child so she could care for his grandchildren but she refused which stirred their separation although he kept on calling her on phone.
