No fewer seven Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) have offered free legal service to monarch in Imo State in suit against the Governor Rochas Okorocha.
According to reports, Governor Rochas Okorocha was, last week, dragged to court by about 40 monarchs in the state of what they termed an attempt to unlawfully invoke punitive actions against the monarchs for associating with the court reinstated Chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze (Dr.) Cletus Ilomuanya.
Some of the monarch have vowed that to pursue the case to a logical conclusion once and for all. They have also stated that they would be at the venue of the court in their numbers on the day the court would begin hearing.
The suit begins on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Owerri High Court 4.
