The Esama of the Benin kingdom, Sir Gabriel Igbinedion recently turned 80 and had a week long celebration to mark the milestone age.
His wife, children and grandchildren turned up to celebrate the man known as “the godfather of the people”.
To wrap up the celebrations was a thanksgiving service held in Benin, Edo state on Sunday, September 14, 2014.
