Police Rescue 10 Ekiti Kidnap Victims

The police in Ekiti state, on Saturday, May 23, 2015 have carried out the rescue of 10 persons from the hands of kidnappers.

According to the statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Ag. CP Emmanuel Ojukwu:

“The special operation ordered by IGP Solomon Arase, fdc, NPM, has this morning successfully rescued Ten (10) persons from the hands of kidnappers.

The victims are being debriefed and receiving medical attention. Some kidnappers have been arrested and the operation is ongoing. ,” the statement reads.

The IGP recently dispatched a crack team of operatives to stem the increasing number of kidnapping incidents in the State.
