Primate Ayodele Predicts Intense In-fighting in Tinubu’s Political Universe

LAGOS, Nigeria — As Nigeria prepares for a new political dispensation, unsettling predictions about the future of its leadership have begun to emerge.

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, warns of impending discord between newly elected officials and their predecessors, both at state and national levels.

In a statement released on Sunday, May 21, 2023, by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele forecasted a period of intense misunderstanding and division among the country’s politicians, which he believes will severely affect progress on both state and national levels.

“This next administration will feature several rancors both at the state and national levels. Some successors will fight their predecessors because it will not be rosy. Some will battle the issue of betrayal and disobedience, there will be so much crisis in the country as a result of division among those at the helm of affairs,” Ayodele declared.

The cleric identified potential points of contention, including relationships between President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike and his successor Sim Fubura, Delta state Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and incoming Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, among others.

Furthermore, Ayodele drew attention to the governor-elect of Akwa Ibom state, Umo Eno, and incumbent Emmanuel Udom, predicting a flurry of disagreements that will ensnare the pair in the coming administration.

“Governor Wike and the incoming governor of Rivers, Sim Fubara, to the surprise of many, will also not have it easy in the next administration due to rancor that will happen between them,” he added.

The forecast also included a prediction of strife within the country’s highest office. Ayodele anticipates a rift between President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima, accompanied by a brewing storm among powerful political cabals in the South-west and the North.

“President-elect, Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima will have issues. There will be attempts to divide them. Also, the South-west cabal and Northern Cabals will not have it rosy till the end, there will be disagreements between them,’’ Ayodele warned.

As Nigeria teeters on the brink of this anticipated upheaval, only time will reveal the veracity of these predictions, and the subsequent impact on the country’s political landscape and development trajectory.
