Mrs Mary Abiola Wayas, the widow of late former Senate President, Joseph Wayas, is dead.
Mrs Wayas passed away in a UK hospital, 12 days after the death of her husband.
Their son, Joseph Wayas Jnr confirmed her death disclosing his father died in a hospital in the European country on November 30, 2021, while his mother died on December 12, 2021 after a brief illness.
Mrs Wayas, a trained secretary, is survived by 5 children, grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She worked in several prestigious firms in Russell Square, London; while supporting her husband, Late Joseph Wayas who was then an overseas student in the UK.
