An aggrieved but brave 26-year-old woman recently exposed her ex-boyfriend after he brutally attacked leaving her with severe injuries.
Michael Cairncross, 24, attacked Amy Castle in Southampton, England following a disagreement while they were still dating.
Castle took to her Facebook page to post several selfies showing the injuries she sustained from Cairncross’ brutality.
According to Castle, her ex-boyfriend attacked her with a baseball bat while she was fast asleep on the couch while their three children were sleeping upstairs.
It was learnt thatCairncross paused the brutal attack after one of the children walked in during the process.
The man was sentenced to 27 months imprisonment and was handed a restraining order after pleading guilty to two counts last week at Southampton Crown Court, according to Mirror UK.
Few hours after the verdict was passed against Cairncross, the victim posted some of the photos on Facebook for the world to see.
She wrote, “This is the result of being beat with a baseball bat while I was SLEEPING on the sofa by my ex-partner MICHAEL CAIRNCROSS … he battered me while I lay sleeping on the sofa and my boys were upstairs sleeping!
“I could not defend myself as he was over me reigning down the hits with a wooden baseball bat we actually got as a soivineir [sic] from a previous holiday!
“I thought I was gonna marry this man until he betrayed me in the worst possible way!
“I wasn’t innocent anyone who knows me knows im a feisty person and will give as good as I get but what he did to me was LOW and ONLY SCUM stoop that low.”

She went on to explain that she thought she was going to marry Michael. Now with good reason, she has detached herself from this man to move on with her life and protect her three boys.
Investigating officer DC Victoria Wilkes explained, “This was a particularly nasty assault where the victim was attacked with a baseball bat, leaving her with significant bruising.
“This was also a traumatic experience for the victim’s three young children who were in the house at the time.
“Hampshire Constabulary takes reports of domestic assault like this very seriously, and I welcome the sentence which reflects the severity of the offence.”
