The annual World Naked Bike Ride, WNBR, Day takes place today, Saturday, June 13, 2015 in over 50 cities across the globe.
The event is a protest not against clothes, but against car culture in order to create awareness that cycling is an environmentally friendly alternative to cars.
According to the organizers, people feel naked even when they have their clothes on and that’s exactly what this event planned to raise awareness about, that is, more safety measures for cyclists.
It is expected that hundreds of protesters both old and young would storm the streets of various cities either half or totally naked as part of the celebration cum protest.
While we await today’s event, below are some photos of stark naked cyclists in London from previous protests. Viewer’s discretion is highly advised. (Click on any image to enlarge).
